We are home safe & sound !

Toronto Island School next week... packing list below. NEEDED: a positive attitude, an open-mind and adventurous spirit to learn, build friendships and make new ones :)

1) Media Release form sent home for Samsung Canada "Solve for Tomorrow" Education Contest video submission DUE TOMORROW MORNING
2) Let's Talk Science field trip forms for the club members DUE TOMORROW MORNING
3) Orange Team field trip form sent home DUE TOMORROW MORNING
4) Media Release form sent home for activities during Business Day on May 18th.
5) Field Trip form send home for STEM UofT Engineering Day May 19th.

TORONTO ISLAND SCHOOL:
May 2: ** regular morning start
- leave luggage along wall by the glass display case
- line up for regular morning routines
May 5: **return to school around 2:15pm
- parents welcome to wait outside or by the gym to pick up their child
- otherwise, students will be dismissed at 3:10pm

I ask students to reflect on their learning weekly, here are two blog post reflections of my own that I would like to share with you, the students of Room 308. Looking forward to two more months of awesome teaching and learning along your side.

ePortfolio: update with tasks in-progress or published, include various reflections on learning & goal setting. 3-5 entries per week (in-class time is provided, at-home time may be needed)

MATH: reviewing Surface Area & Volume of a triangular prism; looking at Ratios

BUSINESS DAY:  
ALL Members: UPDATE THE TEAM GOOGLE SITE with individual and team tasks
